My Artwork

My work values craft and a conscientious use of material. I have always found peace and joy through nurturing a deep connection with nature. With my art I aim to share this feeling with others. I do this through creating well-crafted one-of-a-kind artwork that promotes environmental sustainability. The central themes in my work explore the relationship between consumer habits and environmental issues. All of the materials I use are either recycled or sourced from companies that exercise sustainable business practices. Working as a fiber artist on an organic farm fostered an appreciation in me for small businesses, locally made goods, and sustainable living. These values have carried through into my work and are now important driving forces behind what I do.
