Nezinscot Farm

Artist Residency & Co-op

The Nezinscot farm is a place that fosters creativity, inspires, and teaches something new to everyone who visits. I spent four months living and working in the farm's fiber art studio. During this time I learned about every step in the making of fiber arts from animal to finished product. This included caring for the animals, shearing there wool, carding, spinning, weaving, and much more. At the end of my residency, I presented a collection of needle felted wall hangings, woven textiles, and a mixed media sculpture during the farm's annual arts fair.
